Dried fruits
Crispy dried fruit is a type of fruit that has been pre-processed, coated with sugar, and dried at high temperatures, making it crunchy yet retaining the characteristic flavor and nutritional content of the fruit. Depending on the type of fruit or vegetable, there are different methods for producing dried fruit:
+ Cold drying is the most advanced method in the dried food industry in Vietnam. Freeze-drying products involve using low temperatures to dry the product in a vacuum drying chamber, allowing moisture to escape.
+ Fry-drying is a fairly common method in small business models, used for products that need to be cooked, such as pumpkin, beans, or potatoes.
+ Traditional drying involves using a dryer to make fruit crispy, like bananas or jackfruit.
The advantage of dried fruit is that it is easy to store and convenient to use, especially when away from home on long trips without refrigeration.
